Paigham-e-Pakistan program was launched in 2018 throughout the country. The aim of this program is to initiate an ambitious endeavour to promote peace and eradication of violent external and /or internal forces from Pakistan and building a resilient community by taking on board the youth. In 2022, the Government of Sindh assigned the responsibility to Charter Inspection & Evaluation Committee of Sindh Higher Education to promote this initiative. To accomplish the assigned responsibility, the Sindh HEC has been arranging different extracurricular activities to promote the initiative amongst the youths studying in public, private sector universities and Madaris of Sindh Province. In this regard, the Sindh HEC in collaboration with Paigham-e-Pakistan organized All Karachi Boxing Championship on 23^rd February, 2023. 16 Boys and 16 Girls Boxers participated in this event from Boxing Clubs all over Karachi. The tournament was held at the Ali Muhammad Qambrani Boxing Arena Kakri Sports Complex Lyari, Karachi. A large number of students witnessed the matches. Final matches were held on 23^rd February, 2023. In the Final Match of Boys, Abud won while Pir Baksh was runner up and in the Final Match of Girls, Sehar won while Shams Ul Nisa was runner up. Hon’ble Chief Secretary Sindh Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput who was Chief Guest of the Final, gave away the Trophies and Prize Money to the Winners’ and Runner ups’ Clubs. The President Sindh Boxing Association presented memento to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Sindh and Chairman Sindh HEC.
