Pivot Towards Sustainable Mechanisms For Nation Building

Sindh Higher Education Commission’s Paigham-e-Pakistan Secretariat held an event at the University of Karachi to spread awareness about the program titled “A pivot towards sustainable mechanisms for nation building” hosted at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Science, University of Karachi on the 16th of November 2022. The Paigham-e-Pakistan is an initiative guided by the vision of a more inclusive, equitable, and progressive Pakistan. Currently, programs are managed through a series of events with a focus on delivering lectures.

Participants from every walk of life participated in the event especially differently-abled children from Ida Rieu and the government special education & rehabilitation complex. The event compering was conducted as well by a student with visual impairment, who was appreciated and lauded by all those present. Subsequently, with the tableau, the performance by children with disabilities was both remarkable and heart-touching. Speakers noted that with the proper facilities and further support, persons with disabilities can be supported even further.

The chief guest of the event was the honourable chief minister of Sindh, Mr. Syed Murad Ali Shah who appreciated the initiative of Paigham-e-Pakistan. Along with speakers, panellists comprised from every walk of life, Dr. Mariam Chughtai (director NCC), Dr. Noshad (Director PMDC), Zubair Motiwala (Business tycoon and a member of the chamber of commerce, Karachi), Mr. Zafar Hillaly (political analyst and diplomat), Prof: Dr Tariq Rafi (Chairman SHEC), Nadra Panjwani (philanthropist and former caretaker, Provincial Minister). All the revered guests commended the purpose of the program and showed their support for the worthy cause of Paigham-e-Pakistan.

The event was an icebreaker for the upcoming events in the province under the two category;

B) Empowering Communities for Change
