The Sindh HEC in its endeavors to promote and accelerate IT based Automation drive through its team of professionals intends to train the trainers/professionals of universities of Sindh. In continuation to the various events, Sindh HEC conducted three days interactive session/training program on “KOHA”. The purpose of this training was to encourage, facilitate and strengthen the libraries of Universities/DAI of Sindh province exclusively. KOHA is an open source integrated LMS (Library Management System). It is an effective way to automate library operations without undertaking substantial financial investment by using Open Source Software.
