Sindh Higher Education Commission was established with the objective to promote higher education, research and development in province. Mission of Sindh HEC is to facilitate higher education institutes to serve as an engine of socio-economic development and to improve the quality of education in universities of Sindh.

In quest of the same, Sindh HEC has been working on different fronts including but not limited to disbursing research grants, awarding scholarships, conducting training sessions for support staff and administrative / finance officers and alike. In addition, this commission has been supporting various universities of the province to establish high-tech laboratories and smart classrooms as well.

Keeping the torch burning, Sindh HEC organized Two Days’ “Vice-Chancellors Training” on 26th and 27th October 2022 at Movenpick Hotel (Darbar Hall A) in which the Vice-Chancellors and Pro Vice-Chancellors of the provincial universities imparted with the latest knowledge, trends and topics which are necessary for the holder of such prestigious post.
